Soch Fact Check & Soch Media

Soch Fact Check publishes verdicts on viral claims circulating in Pakistan — political, scientific and social — and Soch Media is the sister video and long-form publication behind it. Both are WordPress builds with custom themes shaped around the editorial formats the journalism actually needs.

Fact-checking is not a normal blog post. Every article carries a claim, a verdict — True, False, Misleading — a fact summary and a source list, and those elements have to be structured content rather than formatting a writer remembers to apply. The theme models them as first-class fields so verdict badges, claim summaries and topic taxonomies render consistently across archives, cards and article pages.

Both sites publish bilingually in English and Urdu, and Soch Media carries a video archive of over 170 pages pulling from YouTube. Search visibility is not a vanity metric here: if a debunk does not outrank the thing it debunks, it has not done its job.
