UAEDubai.ae is the Amanoon brand's UAE and GCC storefront, selling laptops, desktops, gaming PCs, servers, monitors, networking and PC components to customers across the Emirates. It is a WordPress/WooCommerce build behind Cloudflare, priced in AED with GCC shipping.
The defining constraint is catalogue depth. Computer hardware does not fit a flat category list — "PC Components > Storage Disk" and "Laptops > Gaming Laptop" both need to be reachable in two clicks from anywhere, across roughly a hundred leaf categories. Most of the work went into the navigation, filtering and merchandising layer that makes a catalogue that size actually shoppable.
WooCommerce handles the commerce primitives; the custom theme handles everything a hardware buyer expects on top of it — specification-led product pages, comparison-friendly listings and category landing pages that read as buying guides rather than product dumps.

Cloudflare CDN and caching in front of the store

Challenges & solutions
A catalogue too deep for normal navigation. A hundred leaf categories in a standard dropdown is unusable. A structured mega-menu grouped by buying intent — rather than mirroring the raw taxonomy — kept the depth without burying anything.
WooCommerce slows down as the catalogue grows. Category and filter pages were the pain point, so caching and query trimming on listing templates did most of the work of keeping the store fast.
